On October 20th during the drought of 1952, a Milwaukee line freight train steamed through “76” township toward the town of Ardon, setting the countryside ablaze by spewing sparks from its locomotive. Area farmers with hitched plows crashed through their closed gates to head off the firewall. With the help of several surrounding area fire departments, they put out the fire, limiting damage to hearth and home. Red 52 is offered to commemorate the brave efforts of the area farmers and fire departments. It truly does take a village!

We ship cheese using UPS Monday through Wednesday in insulated packages. UPS 2 Day Air is recommended to shipments to states not boarding Illinois.

Shipping Wine (Illinois Only)

We ship wine to Illinois Residents Only, UPS Adult Signature in required. Wine shipments require special packaging and therefore will likely be shipped separate from other items purchased.

Local Pick Up & Delivery

Local Pick Up is available for all items and can be selected at check out. Most items will be available same day. Cheese trays and other prepared items will could require extra time. Delivery is available, but could be limited at times due to staffing.
