Delicate, pretty and playful, this rosy pink sea salt is a beautiful way to add visual interest to your culinary creations.  Colored with Red Alaea clay, legendary for its health benefits, it is not only beautiful but rich in minerals too.  This authentic Hawaiian sea salt is harvested from the pristine ocean waters surrounding the island of Molokai and blended with only the finest ingredients, resulting in exquiste taste and an unmatched mineral content.


Uses:  Amazing as a garnish on a wide variety of sweet treats such as dark chocolate, truffles, caramels, brownies, cheescake and chcolate-covered pretzels.  Besides dessert, the delicacy of this sea salt paris perfectly with seafood like scallops and white fish


Ingredients:  Unrefined sea salt and red alaea clay


Marinated Sea Scallops

¼ cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil


2 tsp fresh garlic, finely chopped


2 tsp fresh thyme, chopped


2 tsp fresh oregano, chopped


1 tsp smoked paprika


2 tsp s.a.l.t. sisters Pink Blush Ka'nani Hawaiian Sea Salt


½ tsp freshly ground black pepper


16 sea scallops


In a small bowl, whisk together all the ingredients except scallops.  Pour this mixture into a large ziplock bag and add scallops.  Pushing all the air out, seal the bag and place in refrigerator for 30 minutes.


Remove scallops from the bag and place in a heated sauté pan.  Cook until golden brown, about 2 minutes on each side.
