Michel Couvreur began exporting Burgandy wines to Scotland in the 1950's. He became engrossed with the whiskey making process and the effect of casking, particularly sherry oak cask. In the 1970's, he began bringing Scotch to his cellar in Burgandy to mature in extermely rare sherry cask.
Blossoming Auld Sherried is a Single Mated Barley distilling in the Highlands of Scotland and sherry cask matured in cellar their cellars in Bouze-lès-Beaune
