Tasting Notes:
The 2022 Goats Do Roam is a Rhône blend that exudes classic aromas of fresh juicy red cherries, wild berries, spices, and plums. It presents a youthful palate with rich layers of berry fruit and spices, complemented by subtle oak nuances. The smooth palate offers fine tannins and a refreshing, lingering finish, ideal for effortless enjoyment.
The grapes were destemmed and gently crushed before being fermented separately in stainless steel tanks based on grape variety and vineyard. Rhône yeasts were introduced to the must, with pump-overs conducted up to four times daily during fermentation. Following alcoholic fermentation, the wines underwent malolactic fermentation in tanks and barrels before being aged, blended, stabilized, and bottled.
