Amarás Mezcal

Amarás Reposado grants you entrance to the world of mezcal with its smooth and mellow notes. Handcrafted using the same fine agave Espadín, only this time, it's matured in our barrels carved from 2 different types of Oak. During this process, it shades into an elegant, light-tanned and natural amber tone, after being left for a minimum of 3 months to adjust itself into our beloved Amarás Reposado.

The Philosophy is to support the hand crafted production as well as all the participants taking part in the elaboration of our Mezcal, by redistributing to the master Mezcalier and his team 15% gross profit after the operating and marketing costs.

REFORESTATION

For each agave harvested we have made a commitment to plant three. This will help to ensure sustainability for future generations.

COMPENSATION

It is Amarás commitment to pay 20% above current wages to all participants involved in the production process (jimadores, agaveros, master mezcaleros, workers in the palenque etc.)

Shipping Cheese

We ship cheese using UPS Monday through Wednesday in insulated packages. UPS 2 Day Air is recommended to shipments to states not boarding Illinois.

Shipping Wine (Illinois Only)

We ship wine to Illinois Residents Only, UPS Adult Signature in required. Wine shipments require special packaging and therefore will likely be shipped separate from other items purchased.

Local Pick Up & Delivery

Local Pick Up is available for all items and can be selected at check out. Most items will be available same day. Cheese trays and other prepared items will could require extra time. Delivery is available, but could be limited at times due to staffing.
