As the red soil of the Hawaiian Island of Moloka'i meets the  Pacific Ocean, it imparts its color and minerals to create the famous Hawaiian red sea salt.  The red alaea clay from the ancient mountains combines with the sea to give the local salt a complex, almost sweet taste all its own. Hawaiian Red Sea Salt Wine Chips, made with this special salt, offer a complex sweet salty flavor, and are made to pair with a with a refreshing, chilled Chardonnay or any fruity, crisp white wine! We in the Southwestern United States have come to love the Serrano Pepper.  Hailing originally from the Puebla and Hidalgo regions of Mexico, the name of the pepper is actually a reference to the beautiful Sierra Madre mountain range of Northeastern Mexico. 

Notably hotter than Jalapeno peppers, Serrano peppers have long been used as a core ingredient in Mexican and southwestern United States cuisines. Paired with the sharp cheddar cheese that we source from the bucolic Racine, Wisconsin, Serrano peppers create a spiciness and even a smokiness that make for an unforgettably powerful and cheesy taste experience.
