Under the guidance of Josi Leitz, Weingut Josef Leitz has established itself as one of the premier growers in Rheingau and, by extension, one of Germany's finest producers. Since taking over his family estate, he has expanded his vineyard from a modest size to over hectares, with the majority of these being Grand Cru sites on the slopes of Rüdesheimer Berg. Once known for producing some of the globe’s most coveted and expensive wines, this region experienced a decline in quality after the Second World War. Josi has dedicated his life to restoring the inherent quality of his homeland's terroir and showcasing the true potential of the Rheingau to the world.

This is essentially the off-dry counterpart to the Eins Zwei Dry. This is a super-delicious, entry-level feinherb style riesling that has crisp acidity, juicy aromatics and is dangerously drinkable. A ridiculously great value!
