The Irpinia area owes its peculiarities to the particular soil and climatic condition which is also affected by the volcanic influence of Vesuvius, suitable for the cultivation of native vines, among which Aglianico stands out for its diffusion and quality. He is considered the monarch of the region's viticulture, able to generate wines of great personality and extraordinary aptitude for ageing. Yet its versatility allows you to experiment with more agile and graceful vinifications, with shorter macerations and less refinement, which give life to elegant and refined wines, as evidenced by this Irpinia Aglianico DOC.

The estates for the production of Aglianico are found mainly on clayey soils, with exposure to the south-east, on average at 400 meters above sea level. The training system is espalier with Guyot or spurred cordon pruning, with a planting density of 4,000 vines/ha on average and a yield of about 8000 kg/ha and about 2 kg/limb.
