Pinot Blanc has been the most important South Tyrolean white wine since the first decades of the 20th century.

The Pinot Blanc develops best on cool slopes between 500-650 m above sea level, which are favorable for it. This is where its typical aromas of fresh apple and pear develop and it retains its classy, ​​invigorating acidity. This makes the wine an unmistakable regional wine. The vines grow on gravelly, calcareous dolomite subsoil. The Pinot Blanc therefore surprises with a salty minerality on the palate, which also lengthens the wine.
