Legend has it that a few stray goats from Fairview's well-established goatherd once wandered into the Fairview vineyards when Charles Back's son, Jason, accidentally left the gate open. These goats roamed happily among the vines, demonstrating a keen sense of taste by selecting the ripest berries. Inspired by their discerning preferences, a medium-bodied white blend was crafted, boasting aromas of fresh apricots and pears alongside zesty acidity.

Crisp pineapple and yellow fruit flavors on the palate, accented by crushed stones, culminating in a long, fresh acidity.
The Viognier, Roussanne, and Grenache grapes for this blend were harvested from vineyards on the sunny slopes of Paarl Mountain at the Fairview farm. Additionally, a Grenache Blanc component from Darling was included in the blend to add a refreshing, cool-climate finish. These grape varieties thrive in South Africa's warm Mediterranean climate.
