The oldest in Quicke's range, this is a rich intense cheese with a delightfully crumbly texture and huge depth of flavor- from umami to buttery, to salted caramel.

Using traditional recipes, time-honored techniques and heritage starters passed down through the generations, Quicke's continues to create outstanding clothbound cheddar.

Made by hand in the old-fashioned way, slowly matured for a deeply satisfying flavor, our cheese celebrates the deep connection that has grown between the Quicke family and the land they have nurtured for almost 500 years.

Shipping Cheese

Minimum Order of $25 required to ship cheese (excluding shipping and taxes), thank you for your understanding

We ship cheese using UPS Monday through Wednesday in insulated packages. UPS Next Day or 2 Day Air is recommended for shipments to states not boarding Illinois.

Cut, Wrap & Receiving

All our orders are sliced by hand and wrapped in breathable cheese wrap. Slicing cheese is an inexact art. Weights are approximate and will vary. To ensure optimal condition upon delivery, we employ Koldtogo Extreme Cube Insulated Shipping Liners and no sweat gel ice packs. Cheese should be refrigerated immediately upon arrival

Fulfilment

To maintain quality, our cheese inventory is constantly refreshing. We cannot guarantee that a cheese is in stock at a quantity sufficient to fill an order. Orders for out of stock or limited quantities will be notified, substitutions recommended and purchases partially or wholly refunded if necessary.
