Redhead Creamery made it first batch of cheese in 2013 and by the end of 2014 they had built and opened up their own cheese making facility right here on their family farm, Jer-Lindy Farms. The dream for this sustainable and eco-friendly creamery has been a dream of founder (and natural redhead) Alise Sjostrom’s since she was 16.

This award-winning munster cheese was named after the township and the North Fork of the Crow river, based in Redhead Creamery's back field. The North Fork Whiskey Washed Munster is a French-style munster that has been washed with local Minnesota 14 Whiskey made at nearby Panther Distillery (Osakis, MN). Its creaminess, stink and pungency are exactly what they were going for. And as a side note… North Fork makes a great grilled cheese and appetizer when warmed up.

Shipping Cheese

We ship cheese using UPS Monday through Wednesday in insulated packages. UPS Next Day or 2 Day Air is recommended for shipments to states not boarding Illinois.

Cut, Wrap & Receiving

All our orders are sliced by hand and wrapped in breathable cheese wrap. Slicing cheese is an inexact art. Weights are approximate and will vary. To ensure optimal condition upon delivery, we employ Koldtogo Extreme Cube Insulated Shipping Liners and no sweat gel ice packs. Cheese should be refrigerated immediately upon arrival

Fulfilment

To maintain quality, our cheese inventory is constantly refreshing. We cannot guarantee that a cheese is in stock at a quantity sufficient to fill an order. Orders for out of stock or limited quantities will be notified, substitutions recommended and purchases partially or wholly refunded if necessary.
